Uma análise de Helldivers 2 Gameplay

Helldivers 2 for the PS5 and PC is now out, and we've enlisted three IGN staff members to take on the disgusting bug like Terminids, and the Terminator-esque Automatons, in this explosive, intense and bloody 18 minutes of 4K 60FPS gameplay - all captured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.

It is now up to you, Helldiver, to don your cape and take back Super Earth’s colonies once and for all. You will be fighting these vile, freedom-hating foes on two fronts, as Super Earth works to implement a solution to the Terminid scourge.

Helldivers 2 ditches the iconic twin-stick shooter gameplay of the first game and completely replaces it with a new third-person over-the-shoulder view. While we’ll have to wait and see which Helldivers game did it better, being down below where the action will undoubtedly intensify things.

Samples are split between your team anyway, so you will be doing everyone a favor by getting them again. If you're paying solo, look for the test tube icon to show you where your dropped samples are.

Blow the doors off! Things can be destroyed in Helldivers 2, and some of the optional objectives will encourage you to blow places to bits. Sometimes when you find points of interest, you'll see crates or doors nearby. Throw a grenade and open them up to find even more loot.

The same could happen with Arrowhead's co-op shooter at some point down the line, giving folks invested in Microsoft's wider gaming ecosystem an opportunity to play Helldivers 2 without buying it directly.

There's also a setting to adjust the level of image sharpening. At zero sharpening in performance mode Helldivers 2 looks soft and indistinct, while stepping up to the max sharpening level increases clarity at the cost of additional artifacting. Quality mode exhibits the same difference, although given its higher resolution, the effect is a bit more subtle. Helldivers' performance mode runs smoothly. We're mostly at 60fps in typical play, with Helldivers 2 Gameplay a very smooth readout, especially when combined with the game's motion blur. The game can suffer from extended dips into the 50s though, typically during larger firefights. In my gameplay the worst I saw was about 50fps, so the game does manage to stay pretty close to 60fps more generally, although it can spend a long time hovering in the 50s in extended firefights. The quality mode also manages a tight lock on its 30fps frame-rate target, but it clearly has issues with bouts of inconsistent frame-pacing.

The console version of Helldivers 2 can be purchased digitally or from physical game retailers like Amazon or Walmart, while the PC one is available digitally from Steam, Amazon, and the reselling site GreenManGaming (you'll get a Steam code with the latter two).

With no story mode or alternate game modes, I’m curious how much there will be for players to do beyond grinding the same missions ad nauseum, especially with pelo clear content roadmap laid out as of yet. That said, with only two enemy factions at the moment, it seems likely the third one from the original Helldivers could be added into the mix at some point, which could easily keep the good times rolling.

The good news is that, even if content is light initially, what I played of it was more than enough to get me excited about laughing with friends as we blast our way through killer robots, and I can’t wait to play more.

Per a PlayStation blog post Arrowhead Game Studios released with the trailer, players will be able to team up with up to three friends to "explore unique planets and complete objectives together, and upgrade your equipment through the deep progression system of Helldivers 2."

For $quarenta, I didn’t expect to have this much fun. It’s a game that’s completely unapologetically made for enjoyment as a co-op shooter and it completely works that way. It’s a perfect mix of moment-to-moment gameplay and teamwork as playing with a group is very rewarding.

Taking on the role of an elite Helldiver fighting for democracy is tough work, but there's a whole host of weapons, Stratagems, and armor types that will help you keep the peace.

Doing so would get you more rewards, but it may leave your timer to 0 and you wouldn’t be able to use your stratagems or support items that you call down from your ship anymore.
